This helmet is not quite what it seems. Chris Boardman and other riders used these Giro helmets back in the 1990’s.
We didn’t really see them here, so this one was actually built in New Zealand.
The owner had a day long fitting session. He sat in a chair, and the helmet was shaped/formed/built around his head over the course of the day.
We have some pretty clever people here in New Zealand, a,d Peter Alexander, who built this helmet, is well known for building carbon fibre bikes, including Tandems for the New Zealand Paralympic team.
