This jersey is a reproduction, but a very special one. In 1981 Giovanni Battaglin won both the Tour of Spain and the Giro d Italia.
To celebrate his 65th birthday, Battaglin built a limited edition (65 pieces) Frame, and Castelli remade the Giro d Italia pink jersey, right down to the correct lettering, made with the same flocked fabric.
Giovanni then signed the jerseys with a personal note to each owner of the 65 frames.
We have frame number 45 in the collection, and thus the jersey that goes with it
