1991 Pearson Olympic

1991 Pearson Olympic

Description

1991 Person Olympic road tt bike, ridden at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, by Paul,Leitch.
The bike was used in the 100km ttt at Barcelona, the riders being Graeme Millar, Paul Leitch, Chris Nicholson and Brian Fowler. We have all bar Brian Fowlers bike in the collection.
The bikes were built by Graeme Pearson, who built numerous bikes for many of New Zealand’s best riders.
Although carbon bikes had been around for some time, there was interest from federations all around the world to purchase the bikes, due to their aero/stiffness/lightness properties. Cycling New Zealand, however, did not sell any, and the bikes were used for about 5 years by various New Zealand teams.
