1990 Bauer Custom SLX

This is another bike built by the cycle makers group in Point Pleasant in Timaru. The bike features Columbus SLX, and was sold by Northcote Mowers and Cycles to John Ashby. The bike was custom built to John’s specifications.
In keeping with wanting to build the bikes as used/raced, I left the carbon fork and Fizik saddle on, as John used it this way for many years.(the bike originally came with a steel fork).
The bike features aCampagnolo Chorus 9 speed groupset, a set of aero clincher wheels on Campagnolo Chorus hubs, aProfile Design carbon fork, a FizikArione saddle, andITM bars/stem.
